I stand Alone

Here I stand in the midst of joy,
I have everything I need,
Friends, Family, the best anyone could have,
Yet I stand alone,
I have earned many hearts,
I have souls which I can claim as my own,
Yet I stand alone,
What more do I need?
What is that I have to pray for?
A Kid in the Park am I?
Or a Stranded Traveller?
Either way,
I stand alone.
I searched for light,
I searched for colours,
I found them all,
But time took its toll,
In desperation I searched for my bone,
I found one, not knowing
Whether it is mine to be owned.
Why did You send it to me oh God?
To teach me a lesson or two?
If you plan to take it away
Take it away.
And to you my bone,
If you ought to leave,
Just leave.
Leave me now and Time will
Heal me with just Scars behind.
Elseway Time will heal you
Back to my ribs
Take away the bone,
I will bleed,
My Heart exposed.
But I will still have my world,
Joyous but empty
And yes I will still
Stand alone
